Flynn has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and other charges tied to his wife's death. Prosecutors say he shot Ashley in the back of the head inside their Tipp City home on Feb. 16, then staged the scene to look like a home invasion. The flag-carrying stranger story is part of what Flynn reportedly told police in the aftermath.
For Ashley Flynn's family, the end of testimony means the case now rests on how jurors weigh a defense that offered no witnesses against more than a week of prosecution evidence.
