Your information is used to connect you with local businesses, send you the 806 Weekly newsletter (if subscribed), deliver Insider perks, and improve our service. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
SMS Communications
If you opt in to SMS, you may receive messages about local deals, events, and updates from 806 Connect. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
Business Listings
Business information displayed on 806 Connect is sourced from public records and verified submissions. If you are a business owner and wish to update or remove your listing, please contact us.
Cookies
We use cookies to personalize your experience and analyze traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your login information private.
Third-Party Services
You can sign in with Google or Facebook. When you do, we receive your name and email address from that service — never your password. Account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider. Those services handle your information under their own privacy policies.
Deleting Your Data
You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time — email privacy@806connect.com from the address on the account. We remove your profile, saved places, and contact details within 30 days. Reviews you have written stay up but are disconnected from your name unless you ask us to remove those too. Business listing information sourced from public records is not personal data and stays in the directory.
