How does the pro request work?

Pick the service you need, enter your phone and ZIP code, and describe the job. The request goes to 806 Connect. We will let you know when we have a local pro for your trade, but we cannot promise a match or a time, so if it cannot wait, call a business from the directory. Your number is not resold to other companies.

Does it cost anything to request a pro?

No. Sending a request is free for every Lubbock resident and there is no fee to you. You are under no obligation to hire anyone you hear from, and you are free to collect quotes from anyone else before you decide.

Are 806 Pros licensed or background checked?

806 Connect does not verify licenses and does not run background checks. The businesses on the trade pages are listings from the 806 Connect directory, not recommendations. Confirm a contractor’s license and insurance yourself before work starts.
