Jewelry store owner charged with murder, sex abuse after alleged assault, hidden room found - KCBD

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said the juvenile went directly to the Cornelius Police Department last Thursday. Deputies responded to the address provided and found 42-year-old Daniel Le Brun inside Blue Sapphire Jewelry LLC, located at the Plaza Grande complex, refusing to come out.

Le Brun was armed with multiple less-lethal-style guns and knives during the standoff. Deputies deployed a drone to track his movements inside the business while negotiators worked to reach him.
