Charlotte picked Anderson 18th in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft four months ago. He got there after earning All-America honors with the Red Raiders. NBA League Pass carries the game.

Anderson played two seasons at Tech. As a sophomore in 2025-26, he made All-Big 12 First Team and averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 assists, 3.3 3-pointers and 1.5 steals per game. His 244 total assists and per-game average both set program single-season records. The average led the Big 12 and ranked fifth nationally.

The shooting numbers stood out too. Anderson hit 108 of 260 from deep, 41.5 percent, and the 108 made threes rank second in a single season in the Red Raider record book. He logged eight double-doubles, seven of them with assists. He opened the year with 34 points and 11 assists against Lindenwood, then dropped 19 points and a career-best 13 assists on Oklahoma State to start Big 12 play. A three-time Big 12 Player of the Week, he finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds against Cincinnati for his eighth double-double.

Anderson credits Tech for how he handles the spotlight. "My time at Tech allowed me to be put in super high-pressure situations," he said after the draft.
