Family seeking answers raises reward for 2017 fatal hit-and-run

The Lubbock Police Department confirmed the reward increase came directly from family members, not from the department or any outside organization. LPD made the announcement to renew public interest in the case and shake loose any leads that may have gone unreported over the past several years.

Anyone with information can call Crime Line. Cold cases like this one often break on a single tip from someone who heard something years ago and never thought to call, or who was too nervous to come forward at the time.

For the family, this is not a statistic or a file number. Someone lost a person they loved in 2017, and they have spent years without answers, now putting up their own money in hopes that somebody in Lubbock knows something and finally decides to say it.
