Five-star USA Softball MVP Khloe Williams commits to Texas Tech

Williams ranks No. 16 nationally and No. 1 in Oklahoma according to Softball America's rankings on Rivals. She joins a class already stacked with five-star outfielder Star Gutierrez, five-star Makenzie Thomas, four-star corner infielder Tulutululelei Salue and four-star prospect Lainie Keefer, giving Texas Tech softball one of the more talked-about recruiting hauls in the country three years out.

Williams brings serious hardware to Lubbock. She helped the USA Softball U-15 national team win gold at the 2025 Pan American Championship, hitting .611 with four doubles, a home run, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored across the tournament. That performance earned her tournament MVP honors, part of a rsum that also includes a World Cup bronze medal.

For Texas Tech softball, this is a program building something bigger than one recruiting cycle. The Red Raiders are pitching themselves as a real destination for the country's top infielders and outfielders, not just a regional option. Fans who watch games at Rocky Johnson Field will have to wait, but it's shaping up to be a promising one.

A 15-year-old already has a Pan American gold medal, a World Cup bronze and a commitment letter to Lubbock, and she still has three years of high school left.
