Girl accuses Braden Peters, social media influencer known as 'Clavicular,' of rape

Court records obtained by NPR show prosecutors charged Peters with rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and providing liquor to a person under 21. The charges stem from an alleged incident on May 23, 2025, and were filed on Sept. 8. Prosecutors say Peters gave the teenager alcohol before the alleged assault. Peters built an online following around "looksmaxxing," a digital subculture centered on maximizing male physical appearance through grooming, fitness, and cosmetic tweaks. That platform gives the accusations against him a wider reach than a typical local case. A representative for Peters denies the charges. NPR tried reaching Peters directly at the phone number listed in the court documents but did not get a response.

For now, the case sits with a Massachusetts court, and no trial date appears in the filings. Peters has not been convicted of anything, and the legal process will determine what happens next.
