Governor Abbott appoints Coleman To Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority - MyParisTexas

Coleman, from Paris, will serve until February 2027. He brings a strong financial background, currently serving as chief credit officer for Liberty National Bank and treasurer of the Paris Economic Development Corporation. This Authority acts as a political subdivision, partnering with the state to complete important transportation infrastructure projects.

They manage roads and bridges in Delta, Fannin, Hunt, and Lamar counties, a significant distance from our familiar 19th Street or Loop 289. Texas utilizes these regional bodies across the state to handle major infrastructure needs, including those far from the South Plains.

This appointment focuses on projects far from the South Plains Mall, yet it showcases how Texas addresses its vast transportation needs.
