A Lubbock jury sentenced 24-year-old Victor Yanez to 50 years in prison Friday for the murder of 38-year-old Joshua Rios at the El Santiago bar on Clovis Road. Yanez was convicted Thursday in the 364th District Court for the April 14, 2025 shooting death of Rios.
