Mike Moffitt takes over as Lubbock-Cooper head volleyball coach - Press Pass Sports

Mike Moffitt has been appointed as the new head coach for the Lubbock-Cooper volleyball team. Moffitt brings a distinguished record, having previously served as the head coach at Flower Mound High School, where he led the Jaguars to a 6A state championship in 2022. His tenure at Flower Mound also included a state runner-up finish in 2021 and a state semifinal appearance in 2023.

Prior to his success at Flower Mound, Moffitt coached at Plano West High School, guiding the team to a state championship in 2017. His extensive experience also includes coaching at the collegiate level, with positions at Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas. Moffitt's coaching career began in 2000 at Lubbock Christian University. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University. His proven ability to develop successful programs and compete at the highest levels of high school volleyball is expected to significantly impact the Lubbock-Cooper program.
