No. 22 Tech to host Kent State for Senior Night Friday

No. 22 Texas Tech Soccer hosts Kent State Friday night, closing out non-conference play with a shot at its first unbeaten run since 2023.

Before kickoff, the Red Raiders will honor six seniors on Senior Night: Kylie Bahr, Kaitlyn Giametta, Emilie McCartney, Skylar Haase, Storie Sexton and Taylor Zdrojewski. Tech enters the match at 3-0-3 overall. A win or draw would lock in an unbeaten non-conference finish for the first time in three years.

Friday is also the last home game for this senior class before Big 12 play begins, giving them one final ovation from the home crowd before the games start carrying more weight in the standings.

Three straight seasons without an unbeaten non-conference stretch could end Friday night in Lubbock, with six seniors walking off to their own send-off.
