One person dead after shooting Wednesday night
Lubbock's Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday night on 38th Street. LPD officers first arrived in the 5000 block of the street, a residential stretch not far from Monterey High School, around 11:07 PM after calls reporting shots fired.
