Rescue underway for personal trapped in cave collapse at Lake Alan Henry - KCBD
Garza County first responders are working to free a person trapped under a collapsed cave at Lake Alan Henry. Lubbock Fire Rescue says the individual was alert and talking with crews on scene as of 8:39 p.m.
Lake Alan Henry sits about 60 miles southeast of Lubbock, a spot plenty of folks here know for fishing trips and weekend camping, not emergency response headlines. LFR Heavy Rescue and the Dive Team are headed to the scene to assist Garza County crews already in contact with the trapped person.
AeroCare has also been requested, signaling how seriously crews are treating the situation.
