The former Beckville Bearcat capped a 5-play, 75-yard drive with the score, his third touchdown of the season. Williams finished the night with 7 carries for 62 yards and a touchdown on the ground, adding 3 catches for 14 yards through the air. Texas Tech needed every bit of it, stopping a Houston two-point conversion attempt in the final minutes to seal the win and keep the Red Raiders undefeated.
