Bored of Sitting at Home? This New Lubbock Walking Group Wants You Outside - FMX 94.5

The idea is simple. Get people off their phones and outside, meeting neighbors on foot instead of scrolling through another feed. Beckwith built the group around casual Saturday morning walks, timed early to beat the heat.

Tech Terrace Park kicks things off, but the group isn't staying put. Future walks will move to other spots around town, giving the group a reason to explore different corners of Lubbock rather than looping the same three blocks every weekend.

For anyone who has moved to Lubbock recently or just hasn't found an easy way to meet people outside of bar scenes or church groups, this fills a real gap.
