Leslie Jill Patterson, William Wenthe, Jessica Smith, Marcus Burke, Jacqueline Kolosov, Nathan Osorio, Katie Cortese, and Curtis Bauer make up the lineup, all pulled from the Department of English. The event is free and open to anyone who wants to walk over to the SUB, whether you're a student in the program or just someone curious to hear new writing out loud.

For people in Lubbock, it's a rare chance to hear the folks who teach Tech's writing students read their own material. The Creative Writing Program has built a reputation well beyond West Texas, and readings like this one give neighbors outside the university a direct line to what that faculty is actually producing right now, not just what shows up in a course catalog.
