Gameday Guide: Red Raiders set to host Sam Houston

Texas Tech Athletics released its full Gameday Guide ahead of the matchup, covering tickets, parking, stadium entry, food and beverage, and fan experiences. The day starts early with parking lots opening for tailgating, followed by Raider Alley presented by Bud Light and student tailgating in the Green Space. Head coach Joey McGuire is expected to take part in the Raider Walk tradition, greeting fans as he enters Galaxy Stadium.

Fans heading to Gate 6 can grab one of 4,000 free student rally towels being given away before kickoff. Raider Alley will also host a concert featuring Slade Coulter, presented by Gorilla Law Firm, before the Goin' Band from Raiderland kicks off its pregame fanfare.

For neighbors making the trip to Raiderland, the early kickoff means an early start. Tailgating, the Raider Walk, and the Raider Alley concert all happen before the 11 a.m. Game, so anyone wanting the full pregame experience needs to show up well ahead of time. With a sellout crowd on the way, parking and gate lines will likely move fast once the lots open.

Four thousand towels, one concert, and an 11 a.m. Kickoff mean Raiderland will be loud and full long before Sam Houston even takes the field.
