Associate head coach Alisa Blair steps in as interim head coach for the rest of the 2026 season. In her fourth year at Texas Tech, Blair previously spent one season as head coach at Abilene Christian in 2022. Assistant coach Mikayla Ell moves up to interim associate head coach for the remainder of the season.

Tech volleyball gets a new coach and a new opponent in the same week.
