Lubbock police picked up a suspect yesterday near Tech Terrace, apprehending an individual following a Midland-issued warrant and bringing an out-of-town crime investigation straight to the 806. The person is wanted in connection with a violent shooting last week in the Permian Basin that left one person dead.
