Lubbock ISD and TTU K-12 launch online school for fall semester

This isn't just another homeschool resource; it's a tuition-free, self-paced program, with courses taught by certified teachers from Texas Tech K-12. Students enrolled through LIVE will officially be LISD students, just learning from their own space. Families across the Hub City now have another distinct option for their kids' education, whether they live in Tech Terrace or Raintree.

While any Texas resident can apply for this new setup, only students living within LISD boundaries can tap into UIL activities and Career and Technical Education programs. Folks considering this also need to know state-mandated tests still apply. Some in-person attendance requirements will remain for all participants.
