Hillyard was last seen around 2 p.m. On March 25 near the 500 block of Radnor Road. Officials believe she walked away from her house alone that day, leaving behind her phone and other belongings.
Steve Fischer, a private investigator hired by the Hillyard family, told SFGATE that his team spent the past two days running a "deep forensics dive" on Amy's devices. That work turned up new information significant enough to justify another physical search of the area.
For the Hillyard family and the regulars who know Farley's, the gap between her disappearance and this new lead has meant living without answers. A coffee shop owner who left her phone at home doesn't fit the profile of someone planning a trip, which is part of why investigators kept digging into her devices instead of closing the file.
No word yet on exactly where next week's search will focus or what the forensics review found on her phone or computer. Still no sign of a woman two coffee shops depend on.
