RV/No. 19 Tech, No. 25/NR UCF open Big 12 in Orlando

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Lubbock time, from the UCF Soccer Complex. Tech comes in on a 12-match unbeaten streak, the third longest in the country and the longest in the Power Four, built on wins over San Diego State and Kent State. UCF sits winless so far at 0-2-1.

The Red Raiders have never beaten UCF and are 0-1-1 all time playing in Orlando. UCF is one of just three Big 12 teams, along with BYU and Colorado, that Tech has not defeated since joining the conference in 2023.

For fans back home who have watched this program build steadily since the Big 12 move, this game is a chance to erase one of the last blank spots on the record. A win pushes Tech to 50 victories since 2023 and gets the Red Raiders rolling before conference play gets tougher. Losing or drawing again would leave UCF unchecked on that short list.

Kaitlyn Giametta scored her first career brace in the win over Kent State, and Tech will need that kind of scoring punch again if it wants to finally shake UCF off that unbeaten list.
