Smalls Sliders To Bring Three New Locations to Amarillo and Lubbock

Entrepreneurs Andrew Bailey and Justin Chick plan to open at least three locations across both cities over the next five years. The chain operates out of purpose-built "cans," compact structures designed specifically for the concept rather than converted storefronts or strip mall bays.

The menu stays intentionally tight: sliders with their house smauce, waffle fries, queso, and shakes, including a Fanta Orange shake. That focus is part of the brand's identity. No sprawling menu, no guesswork.

For Lubbock, this is a second shot at something that almost happened. A previous operator reportedly lined up a deal to bring Smalls Sliders here, and it fell apart before a single location opened. Bailey and Chick are now picking it back up on a larger scale than that original plan. Whether Lubbock gets one location or multiple under this new agreement is not yet specified, but the five-year window gives the pair room to build out across both cities.

A burger chain that nearly missed Lubbock entirely is now coming back with at least three bites at the West Texas market.
