WBU unveils market ticker at School of Business - myplainview.com

The university celebrated the ticker's installation this week, capping off a project two business professors set in motion earlier this year. Marketing professor Jason Geesey and Bashir Easter, associate dean for graduate programs and assistant professor of management, both helped fund and push the project forward, according to a WBU news release.

This is one piece of a bigger push inside the School of Business. Geesey and Easter first announced plans for changes and enhancements back in February, and the ticker marks the first of those ideas to actually show up on campus. For business students walking through the building, real-time market data is now part of the everyday scenery, not just something pulled up on a laptop during class.
