Former Flying Queen Carmen Wynn-Parks selected to NAIA Hall of Fame - Plainview Herald

Wynn-Parks played four years for the Hutcherson Flying Queens, scoring 2,310 points and helping the team to a 113-23 record from 1983 to 1987. She earned three-time NAIA and AWSF All-American honors and was a two-time Kodak/WBCA selection. Her career included three national tournament appearances and a trip to the 1986 national championship game.

For people who followed Flying Queens basketball through the 1980s, Wynn-Parks was part of a run that put Wayland Baptist on the map nationally.
