Questions about the brackets
How do I follow one team through the bracket?
Tap a team’s name in any game. Every game that team played lights up, round by round, and the lines between them fill in. Tap the team again to clear it. Texas Tech starts highlighted.
Where do the scores and matchups come from?
From ESPN’s public scoreboard feed. We keep a copy on our own server and refresh it about every ten minutes while games are on, so this page can trail the broadcast by a few minutes. A finished tournament is saved as it ended.
When does the next bracket show up?
The men’s and women’s basketball fields are set in March, and the Big 12 tournaments are played in March. In recent years the College Football Playoff field has been announced in early December. Each bracket fills in here once the teams are named.
Why does the Big 12 bracket show no seed numbers?
The scoreboard data we read does not include the Big 12 tournament’s seeding, so we don’t print numbers we can’t check. Teams sit where they advanced from.
