Lubbock could see thunderstorms Tuesday evening, but the bigger story is a high near 96 degrees pushing well above the September average, according to KAMC Forecaster Larry Rodriguez. Tuesday's forecast calls for afternoon highs in the middle to upper 90s on the Caprock, with the lower 100s expected off the Caprock.
