Leatherman called out a group known as ShinyHunters, which claimed last week to have stolen reams of sensitive FBI data. "You know how to find us, and we know how to find you," he said in the video, urging the group to come forward before facing consequences.
The FBI says it's "aggressively" investigating how the hackers accessed the data. The bureau hasn't said publicly how many employees are affected or exactly what was taken, but it's looking into whether the hackers had inside help.
