Common questions

How do I claim my business listing on 806 Connect?

Search your business name on this page, open your listing, and send the claim form with your name and email. If your email is on the same domain as your business website, 806 Connect emails you a 6-digit code and you are in right away. If not, a person on our team reviews the claim. Claiming costs nothing.

How do you verify that I own the business?

Two ways. If your email is on the same domain as the business website, a one-time code sent to that address proves you can read mail there, and the claim is approved on the spot. If it is not, a person on our team reads the claim and checks it before the listing is handed over.

What can I do once my listing is claimed?

You get an owner dashboard. Update your hours, photos and description, post deals and specials, reply publicly to reviews, and ask customers for reviews with a QR code or a shareable link. Inquiries from your listing are emailed to you. Edits on a free listing are reviewed before they go live.

Does claiming my business cost anything?

No. Claiming a listing and keeping it is free, and the form never asks for a card. Paid upgrades exist and are optional, starting at $49 a month for Plus. A claimed free listing stays free for as long as you want it.

What if my business isn't in the directory yet?

Add it, then claim it. If the search on this page does not find your business, the Get Listed form takes your name, category, address, phone, website, hours, description and photo links. Most submissions are reviewed and published in one to two days, and it is free.

Does being listed mean 806 Connect recommends my business?

No. Being listed is not an endorsement, and 806 Connect does not check licenses, insurance or quality. No one can pay to rank higher in search or on the Explore and category pages, and every paid spot says it is paid. 806 Pro is a separate service, by application; a free listing does not lead to it.
