806 Perks: points, levels and Your 806 Week
Points come only from useful local help that a moderator approves. Reviews and helpful votes do not earn points, so nobody is ever rewarded for what they say about a business. Points never expire. Perks from local businesses are coming soon; there is nothing to redeem yet.
What to do
- Add an event and a moderator approves it: 10 points.
- Send a tip or a listing fix while signed in and a moderator approves it: 10 points.
- Add your own photo to a tip and a moderator publishes it: 5 points.
- Finish claiming your own business: 15 points.
- Up to 30 points a day. Levels: Neighbor (0), Explorer (20), Connector (60), Local Scout (150).
- Your 806 Week: 2 approved actions in a week. Miss one and the first missed week each month is a grace week, automatically. No streaks.

Do points expire?
No. Points never expire and are never taken away.
Do points move instantly?
No. They land when a moderator approves what you sent.
Is there a leaderboard or a streak?
No. There is no all-time leaderboard and no daily streak. Your 806 Week is a small weekly goal with a grace week every month.
Can I redeem points?
Not yet. Perks from local businesses are coming soon. When they arrive, you will see them on your dashboard first.
