A National Historic and State Archaeological Landmark preserving 12,000 years of continuous human habitation on the Southern Plains. Located on the Texas Tech campus — one of the most significant archaeological sites in North America.

National Ranching Heritage Center
27-acre outdoor museum adjacent to the TTU campus with more than 50 authentic historic structures tracing the history of ranching across West Texas. Free admission and one of the most complete collections of frontier architecture in the country.

Depot District

Silent Wings Museum
Honors the WWII glider pilots trained at Lubbock Army Air Field. The museum features rare aircraft, immersive exhibits, and occupies the beautifully restored former terminal building.

Buddy Holly Center
