Saturday, Oct. 24, moves to John Stiff Park with a 7 a.m. Balloon launch and a morning fun run and 5K at 8 a.m. Food trucks, games and vendors open at 4:30 p.m. Balloon trick-or-treating follows at 6 p.m., and the Balloon Glow closes out the night at 7 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 25, the rally returns to Palo Duro Canyon for the finale. Gates open at 6 a.m. And balloons launch at 7 a.m., the same schedule as Friday.

Saturday is the easy one for families. Organizers say admission is free, though food and vendor purchases cost extra, and they encourage costumes and candy bags so kids can trick-or-treat under the balloons. Sunday's price is one canned food item per car, tied to a partnership with the High Plains Food Bank.

Weather can ground everything. Balloon activities depend on conditions, and Amarillo Parks and Rec says it will post any cancellations on its social media.
