Light rain wraps up Friday evening as the main system moves away from West Texas. Light southeasterly winds and moist air will let fog develop. Expect mostly drizzle or mist, with maybe a few sprinkles.

Visibility could drop significantly in some areas, so slow down if you're out early. Temperatures hold in the mid-50s Friday evening and slip to the low 50s by Saturday morning. Grab a light jacket.

Tailgaters should plan on damp, chilly conditions. The fog should begin clearing around late morning, and clouds will break from west to east in the afternoon. If the low clouds stick around, highs may struggle to leave the 50s. By evening, Halloween turns chilly but dry, with temperatures in the 50s and a light wind. That is near perfect for trick-or-treating.

Then the weather flips. A slim chance of rain arrives late Sunday into early Monday, but wind is the bigger story. Westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph will build Monday, with gusts of 40 to 45 mph possible, and temperatures could climb back into the 70s before a cold front brings cooler air. Tuesday through Friday looks chilly at night and in the morning, with cool afternoons.
