806 Connect reviews help locals make good decisions. These guidelines keep our community honest and useful.
Share your real experience
Write about your actual visit, purchase, or service. Don't fabricate information or fill in details you didn't experience.
No self-reviews or employee reviews
Owners, employees, and immediate family members may not review their own business.
No competitor smears
Don't use reviews to attack competing businesses. Writing fake negative reviews about a competitor violates these guidelines.
Be specific and helpful
The best reviews say what you ordered, what went well (or didn’t), and why it matters. "Nice place" doesn’t help anyone.
No offensive language
Reviews containing slurs, abusive language, or discrimination will be removed.
No personal information
Don't include phone numbers, addresses, emails, or personal details about individuals.
One review per business
You can update your existing review if your experience changes, but please don't post multiple reviews for the same place.
Guideline enforcement
Our team reviews all submissions before publishing. Reviews that violate these guidelines will be rejected or removed without notice. We never delete honest, legitimate negative reviews — only content that breaks these rules.
