What is open on Sunday?
Sunday afternoons are the common window. The Museum of Texas Tech University lists 12 to 5 PM, the National Ranching Heritage Center and the Lubbock Lake Landmark list 1 to 5 p.m., and the Science Spectrum lists 1pm to 5pm. Where can we spend Saturday morning outside?
Our parks list has 85 parks, and 55 of them list a playground. The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum says admission is free and lists its grounds open daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. The City offers three free splash pads, marked seasonal on its park list, so check the Aquatics page first.6, 7, 8

The Museum of Texas Tech University, the National Ranching Heritage Center and the Lubbock Lake Landmark each say admission is free.
