Manhattan Heights
The other half of the city’s first adopted neighborhood plan.
Manhattan Heights is the northern half of the Dunbar-Manhattan Heights area — one of the first two neighborhoods the Lubbock City Council approved for a formal Neighborhood Plan in April 2022 under Plan Lubbock 2040. It is a quiet, historically significant part of east Lubbock next to Dunbar Historical Lake Park, whose five-mile loop trail and lake are the area’s best-known feature.
