Last week, Estacado beat Perryton 64-35, and the defense did real damage. Ivyrson McGuire returned an interception 90 yards. Gary Brooks scooped up a fumble and ran 40 yards for a score, then added two rushing touchdowns on offense.
Head coach Eric Ward points to practice. "I always tell them it starts in practice and so we capitalize on each day in practice, then the game should be where we can showcase how hard we've been working," Ward said.
Borger arrives with a different kind of story. The Bulldogs went winless in 2025 and have already won twice this season, 30-20 over rival Pampa and 49-7 over River Road. A win in Lubbock would make it three.
Folks who can't make it to the stadium can watch on KCBD.com, the End Zone App, or the Streaming App.
Ward says he's a day-to-day guy, and tonight the scoreboard gets its say.
