Daniels had missed two games. He ran in inclement weather and showed no worry about getting hurt, CBS Sports' Jamey Eisenberg wrote. He went 17-of-25 for 199 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, and he played without Stefon Diggs, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Terry McLaurin was at less than 100 percent, and a late-game clock management blunder was the one mark against Daniels.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen also stepped up. With Breece Hall sidelined again by a quadriceps injury, Allen carried 24 times for 116 yards and a touchdown against the Browns.
Eisenberg says Allen should be treated as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues while Hall is out. He plans to start Daniels in all leagues in Week 6 at San Francisco and sees many reasons to keep him in lineups the rest of the season.
Not everyone helped their cause. Denver Broncos receiver Jaylen Waddle struggled again against the Chargers, even with Sean Payton now calling plays. New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough had his worst game of the season against the Vikings, a tough matchup.
