A friend gave Whitt a Yamaha R6 in 2023, and he began posting the next year. He says the ride itself hooks him. "The moment you put the helmet on, it kind of feels like everything around you, all the outside noise, everything just kind of disappears," Whitt said.
Whitt has three kids, ages 12, 10 and 9, and his wife helps film and appears in many of the videos. "It's just a look at what it's like to have a family and ride," he said. The kids love bikes, and Whitt calls them "my world."
For anyone in Lubbock thinking about riding, Whitt's message comes with a warning. "You don't have barriers, you don't have airbags, you don't have anything protecting you between you and any other obstacle on the road," he said. On two wheels you get half the grip, if not less, so it doesn't take much to cause injury. He wants people considering the hobby to start safely.
Whitt dreams of opening a track in west Texas for riders.
