The Red Raiders landed in Pool B with Houston, No. 10 Kansas State and No. 7 Colorado. All 16 Big 12 programs are in the field, divided into four pools of four teams. Oklahoma State is the No. 1 seed in Pool A.

Pool play runs a day and a half over three sessions. Texas Tech plays Kansas State at 1:30 p.m. Monday, then Colorado in the third session at 8 a.m. The bracket starts Tuesday afternoon. The final round tees off Wednesday morning.

Here's the twist for the roster. Texas Tech travels with six players, and the coaches can pick any of the six for each session. Lineups are due at least 30 minutes before every shotgun start, so the Red Raiders can reshuffle between rounds.

For fans watching the scoreboard, this is a sprint. Texas Tech could play five team matches in three days, and each one is made of five individual matches. That adds up to as many as 25 individual matches, shared among just six players.
