Polls open at 8 a.m. Across the South Plains. In Lubbock, voters can use any United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos location.
United has eight Lubbock sites, including 2630 Parkway Dr. At Beech Avenue, 401 Slide Road at 4th and Slide, and 1701 50th Street at Avenue Q. Market Street has three, at 4425 19th Street, 3405 50th Street and 4205 98th Street. Amigos has one, at 112 N. University Avenue.
If a grocery run isn't your style, you have other choices. The Texas Tech University Student Recreation Center on campus takes ballots, and so does the Roosevelt ISD Gymnasium at 1301 CR 3300.
Six other towns have their own spot. Slaton voters can use the Slaton Community Clubhouse at 750 W Garza St., and Abernathy has City Hall at 811 Avenue D. Wolfforth's site is the Casey Administration Building at 501 7th Street. Idalou has its Community Center at 202 W. 7th Street. New Deal voters head to the Community Clubhouse at 309 S Monroe Avenue, and Shallowater's site is the Community Center at 900 Avenue H.
Twenty sites are open in all.
