Five Red Raiders play and the best four scores count each round. Tarini Bhoga, Maja Ambroziak, Cameron Freund, Klara Hurtova and Parat Sukanant make up the lineup. Angel Yin plays as an individual.
The field includes TCU, Ole Miss, Rice, Iowa, Wisconsin and UCF. Teams play a practice round Sunday, then 36 holes Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT. The final 18 holes begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. CT. Stroke play takes place on Medinah's Course No. 2, about 25 miles west of Chicago.
For Tech fans, this is a chance to see how the Red Raiders stack up against a mix of Big Ten programs, Big 12 rival TCU and a few teams from outside the power conferences. Live scoring and tee times are posted on the Texas Tech athletics site. Next up is The Fin on Oct. 19-21 at Freestone Golf Club in Fairfield, Texas, which finishes the fall season. The Red Raiders then wait until Feb. 1-3 for the Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida.
Medinah's Course No. 3 hosted the 2012 Ryder Cup and the 2026 President's Cup, but the Red Raiders will play the course next door.
