Nine teams kept their opponents off the board. Estacado beat Borger 66-0, Gruver topped Bovina 55-0, and Klondike blanked Ira 54-0. Christ the King, Kingdom Prep, Rotan, Wellman-Union and Pecos also posted shutouts.
Closer to home, Lubbock-Cooper beat Coronado 48-6 in 5A, and Lubbock Christian handled Andrews 50-14 in TAPPS play. Shallowater beat Bushland 49-28, Idalou topped Littlefield 38-20, and Slaton beat Roosevelt 42-7 in 3A.
A few games stayed tight. Tahoka edged Lockney 32-26 in 2A. Ralls beat Crosbyton 18-8, and Olton beat Floydada 21-8.
Clyde put up 86 on Lamesa, and Hermleigh hit 79 against Roby. Levelland beat Perryton 76-53 in 4A. Teams in New Mexico played too, with Eldorado beating Clovis 48-32 and Las Cruces Centennial topping Hobbs 42-20.
Levelland and Perryton combined for 129 points, 12 more than the 117 Chillicothe and Guthrie scored.
