Bristow, the lone returner, also grabbed nine rebounds, one shy of a double-double. Three teammates joined her in double figures: Stephanie Okechukwu with 18, Martina Anyango with 14 and Ambrosia "Bro Bro" Cole with 12. Tech outrebounded the Rambelles 44-24.

The Lady Raiders led by double digits after the first quarter, when they shot 57.9% from the field. Five turnovers forced in just over three minutes fueled a 14-2 run that sent Tech into the break up 49-24. Okechukwu's fast-break layup in the third quarter made it 56-26. Two Bristow free throws with just over eight minutes left stretched the lead to 70-30. Natalia Jordan capped the win with a late three-pointer.

In Tech's first home performance of the season, Anyango made an immediate impact. She recently joined the program, and in her Lady Raider debut she added six rebounds and went a perfect 7-for-7 at the free-throw line. Cole ran the offense with a team-high six assists, and Tahys Da Silva added four. The regular season opens Nov. 5 against Charlotte.

Angelo State turned it over 26 times, and Tech turned those giveaways into 34 points, just six fewer than the Rambelles scored all night.
