No. Shackelford County is not among the 18 counties named on Sept. 24, 2026.

  • A county that is not on the list is not an all-clear. The release says "including," and the Attorney General's office describes the investigation as reaching all data center developments in Texas. This page can only report the counties named on September 24, 2026.

A 10-building campus. Vantage says it will use a closed-loop chiller system that "requires minimal water." It gave no gallon figure.

Vantage said on Aug. 19, 2025 that construction had begun, with the first building scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026.
